Entry Level Geotechnical Engineer

Responsibilities Include:
  • Document research
  • Engineering analysis and report preparation
  • Subsurface field exploration (borings, rock coring, CPT, etc.)
  • Prepare boring logs and AutoCAD drawings
  • Laboratory Testing (consolidation, direct shear, Atterberg, proctor, etc.)
  • Construction observation (fill placement and compaction; shallow and deep foundations; excavation, trenching and shoring; retaining walls)
Prerequisites Include:
  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering with Geotechnical Emphasis, or related field.  Master’s Degree preferred
  • 0 to 3 years of related experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • EIT preferred
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to perform moderate physical activity including lifting up to 50 lbs.
