Entry Level Geotechnical Engineer
Responsibilities Include:
- Document research
- Engineering analysis and report preparation
- Subsurface field exploration (borings, rock coring, CPT, etc.)
- Prepare boring logs and AutoCAD drawings
- Laboratory Testing (consolidation, direct shear, Atterberg, proctor, etc.)
- Construction observation (fill placement and compaction; shallow and deep foundations; excavation, trenching and shoring; retaining walls)
Prerequisites Include:
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering with Geotechnical Emphasis, or related field. Master’s Degree preferred
- 0 to 3 years of related experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- EIT preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to perform moderate physical activity including lifting up to 50 lbs.
